Introduction of MA700 Instant Water Stop Powder

A powder with waterproofing properties that rapidly blocks the flow of water, used in various areas of concrete surfaces, cement walls, and all surfaces under the pressure of surface and groundwater. This powder, based on cement and mineral fillers, is produced using nanotechnology and, upon mixing with water, quickly reaches its final setting, sealing the water ingress pores in the concrete. The MA700 rapid-setting powder is highly resistant to CO2 gas and negative water pressure, and it is environmentally friendly.

Applications of MA700 Quick Setting Powder

In tunnels, elevator shafts, negative floor walls, public parking lots, swimming pools, gardens, drinking water tanks, manholes, septic tanks, and reservoirs that cannot be accessed from inside the structure, concrete pipes and fittings for water and sewage are used between different layers of concrete and brick, as well as in all locations adjacent to the flow of groundwater and surface water. Due to the high power of this powder in instant water control and pressure resistance against water flow, this product has the highest consumption and application in the field of retaining structures, tunnel construction, and specialized metro line development.

Preparation of the MA700 Quick Setting Powder Application Site

Please clean the surface in question from any contaminants (grease, moss and algae, petroleum substances such as mold oil and oil-based paints, old coatings, etc.). If the surface is dirty or very smooth and polished, you can prepare it for application by sandblasting, water blasting, or acid washing. Due to the rapid setting time of this powder when reacting with water, it is recommended to mix the powder each time in an amount sufficient to fill a gap or a hole with water.

General method of product installation: (Installation methods may vary depending on the location of application).

Combine MA700 instant powder and water in the specified ratio below to obtain a stiff paste. Then, using your hand or a trowel, place it into the gap from which water is leaking and hold it firmly with your hand for one minute to stop the water flow.

Note: MA700 instant powder requires curing during the first five minutes and its setting occurs in flowing water. Therefore, if there is a slight flow of water in the gap, you must continuously pour water for one minute from the moment you place the paste in the gap while keeping your hand on it until it reaches its final set.

Reducing the amount of water mixture and maintaining a high purity of the product does not necessarily improve quality. Therefore, please ensure that the specified components are used in the correct proportions.
The specified consumption rate is approximate and may vary in each project, requiring testing.
After application, the products dry in the air, and the drying time will vary depending on the season of application (cold or warm weather), ambient temperature and humidity, wind speed, and air flow.
To preserve the product over a long period, store it in its original packaging, without mixing with water, at a temperature between 15°C and 30°C, and away from direct sunlight (in accordance with storage conditions).
