PLC mesh

A product for controlling tensile and bending stresses caused by temperature fluctuations.

Introduction to PLC Mesh

It is made of fiberglass, which has a performance similar to that of metal mesh in structures. Due to its softness, lightweight, ability to withstand tensile and bending stresses, and control of thermal expansion and contraction caused by temperature fluctuations, it is an ideal option for reinforcing and strengthening the external surface of concrete and cementitious and gypsum mortars.
The PLC mesh weighs 75 grams per square meter with openings of 5×5 millimeters.

Applications of PLC Mesh

The connection point of metal pipes and PVC pipes with concrete or cement surfaces involves creating integrity on uneven surfaces such as the inlet of drains to the structure, flooring and reinforcement of swimming pools and jacuzzis, sanitary facilities, rooftops, and tanks, assisting in the implementation of insulation layers in all snow-prone areas and locations exposed to temperature fluctuations, such as rooftops and terraces.

General method of product installation: (Installation methods may vary depending on the location of application).

A: Use in repair mastics

After completing the first stage of the repair mastic, use N50 concrete adhesive and additive or B70 mortar adhesive and additive to bond the mesh onto the surfaces. Once dry, fill the mesh openings by applying the second stage of the mastic.
B: Use in insulation mastics

After applying the first layer of waterproofing mastic using Z90 sealant and resin, adhere the mesh to the surfaces and joints, and after drying, fill the mesh openings with the second layer of mastic.
