Waterproofing of planter boxes, gardens, and roof gardens with a final surface of soil and planted flowers and plants follows these steps:
The soil inside must be removed to access the main structural support. If traditional insulation exists beneath the garden soil, it should be removed, as NSG products cannot be used directly on impermeable surfaces.
After removing debris and contaminants from the surface, if there are any damaged or porous areas, they should be repaired using a mixture made from adhesive and N50 concrete additive (e.g., for patching weak points).
After repairing cracks, apply Z90 waterproofing adhesive and resin to the main layer. Mix Z90 adhesive and resin with water in a 1:1 ratio and apply in two coats on the surfaces.
In one container, combine one unit of water with one unit of Z90 adhesive and resin; in another container, mix two units of sifted stone powder with one unit of cement. Add the liquid phase to the powder phase until it can be applied with a brush. The resulting slurry should also be applied in two coats after allowing adequate drying time between applications.
